the July outing has still not been claimed. I will send out an e-mail regarding
this. (3) Christmas raffle-We currently have three of the five prizes obtained.

The

OLD
BUSINESS: (1)Joining the EGPA-Until we make the decision of joining EGPA or
staying with GPAA we need to nominate an Advisory Committee. It was decided to
have it consist of our current officers plus six others. The following people
will make up the committee: Brady Crist, Don Schmidt, Linda Houseknecht, Bob
Hettinger, Dave Cupina, Wayne Ordille, John Green, Andy Schicora, Paul
Lindenmuth, Andy VanHorn, and Connie Ordille. The Chair Person will be Dave
Cupina and he will be responsible for getting the Committee together. It was
decided to have a meeting immediately following the gold club meeting today. The
Advisory committee will also have to decide what to do concerning our treasury
and store. (2) By-laws-It will be up to each individual club to set up our
by-laws. (3) Rick Atkins spoke about EGPA- (1) Properties-If we can locate land
in this area for panning/dredging the EGPA will get it set up. Currently the
EGPA has obtained approval for dredging at the York, Pa. property and it is
permissible to dredge in Virginia now. The EGPA wants to open the York property
for camping so it won’t just be a one-day outing area. The person who owns the
property is planning to install running water and bathrooms.
NEW

unanimously. We will add the organization name when we decide which one we will
align ourselves with. (2) Store-Tom Confer will operate the store.
The
raffles were held and the meeting adjourned for the potluck.

submitted,
