SUSQUEHANNA RIVER CHAPTER

Located near Bloomsburg, PA.

Meeting Location's

For those of you who have never been to Lightstreet, from I-80 use exit 236. Go north on Rt. 487. Cross the bridge and turn left at the first turn (be careful you don't mistake the on-ramp to I-80 for the turn) and (after the "Welcome to Lightstreet" sign) proceed about 4 tenths of a mile past the Grange to Church Street, turn left and park behind the United Methodist Church (our new meeting place). This is all a very short distance from the I-80 exits.

Directions to Delong-Montour Fairgrounds From I-80 at Exit 215 & I-180 Rt-254 Exit. Turn East onto Rt. 254 head towards Limestoneville. Turn right at the fairgrounds If you miss it, turn Right onto Mexico Rd. Go a short distance Turn right into fairgrounds (Dirt Road).

Coming from route 80 turn north onto route 54 (exit 224 on rte 80), go about five miles to the traffic light and turn left onto route 254, go a short distance and take Mexico road as above or continue on to the main fairground entrance.

PENNSYLVANIA GOLD

DON'T LAUGH

Members of the Susquehanna River Chapter are finding Gold right here in the North Central and North East Part of Pennsylvania. It's some nice Gold too!

One member is finding fine gold as well as pickers in the North Branch of the Susquehanna River.

Another member found a lot of fine Gold in Luzerne County

Still another member in finding fine Gold in Wayne County.

At our April meeting members found a nice picker as well as fine Gold right there

So there is Gold in them there hills!

All we have to do is get out and look for it.

With our club now at 304 members there are a lot of them out looking for Gold. And we are finding it!
